As a Financial Analyst at Lennar, you will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting on business activities, performing data analysis, supporting month end accounting processes, and managing projects to successful completion. You will work closely with our internal teams to support achievement of goals with appropriate financial oversight and input.You will collaborate on an ongoing basis with our Operations, Program Management, and Product & Engineering functions. Our team is most similar to a fast-paced startup environment, where we are constantly striving to hit ambitious deadlines to learn quickly based on real customer feedback and develop the product.
Responsibilities
Build and Maintain Financial and Operational Models.Assist in financial feasibility analysis for various business opportunities.Regularly translate data and insights into actionable and relevant recommendations, utilizing visualization and data analysis tools, presentations, and other means to effectively communicate clear and concise recommendations to leadership.Develop reporting for the team to measure against budget and goals.Assist Finance and Operations leaders with ad-hoc projects.
Qualifications
Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in relevant tools and software for business analysis and financial budgeting & reporting.Education and Experience Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or a related field (or equivalent experience).1-3 years’ experience in Financial Analysis, Business Analysis, Operations Analysis, or comparable role via previous internship or entry-level positions.Strong MS Excel skills requiredJD Edwards experience and Hyperion / Essbase preferredLennar Core Values:Our commitment to Quality, Value, and Integrity is the underlying foundation upon which Lennar was built, and these three fundamental principles still guide us in caringfor our customers, associates, shareholders, and community.Life at Lennar!Lennar recognizes our associates are the heart of the company’s success.
